The vision of Out Boulder is that Boulder County serve as a model of equality, respect and well-being for LGBTQ people. To achieve its vision, Out Boulder's mission is to foster safe environments for self-expression, gathering, support and dialogue; advocate for social justice; collaborate with others who share their vision; celebrate the contributions of the many facets of the community; and educate the public about the experiences of LGBTQ people. Colorado Anti-Violence Program
Since 1986, the Colorado Anti-Violence Program, based in Denver, has been dedicated to eliminating violence within and against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities in Colorado, and providing the highest quality services to survivors. Gender Identity Center
The Gender Identity Center of Colorado Inc. in Wheat Ridge is a nonprofit that was organized in 1978 and incorporated in June 1980. The organization was formed to provide support to transsexuals, or those people who cross dress, or are non-traditional in their gender identity. Inside/Out Youth Services
Inside/Out Youth Services is the sole lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and questioning youth organization in the El Paso County region. Inside/Out emphasizes a broad range of support services and programs for youth 13-22 years old, including support groups, peer counseling, safe recreation activities, community referrals, HIV/STD prevention education, community education and advocacy, and youth leadership development. The Kaleidoscope Project in Denver is designed to provide programs uniquely designed for the African American community. The organization recognizes and values the diversity within the African American community and seeks to provide services that respond to those diversities. The Kaleidoscope Project's premise is to look at healthy living, not just from a physical standpoint, but from a psychological, spiritual, educational and community participation standpoint. Pikes Peak Gay and Lesbian Center
Pikes Peak Gay & Lesbian Community Center in Colorado Springs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1978 and formally incorporated in 1981. As Colorado’s second-oldest GLBT community center, the organization’s purpose is to create a level playing field for LGBT individuals and families in the Pikes Peak region and Southern Colorado. Southern Colorado Equality Alliance
Serving the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Community in Pueblo and all of southern Colorado, the Southern Colorado Equality Alliance works to build a community through advocacy and understanding. The Alliance also organizes and hosts Pueblo Pride every August. Click here to learn more.
Western Equality of Grand Junction strives to create a fair community and secure equal rights for all regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression. Western Equality was originally formed as the Common Decency Coalition following the November 1992 voter approval of Amendment 2 in Colorado.
